Description
CENTRAL EUROPE, CIRCA 1760 A continental, most likely German hard paste porcelain figural cat humidor. The cat was naturalistically modeled in a defensive stance with her back arched and tail curled with mouth open hissing. The humidor was finished in a high glaze, notice the vibrant green glaze used in the limbal rings of her eyes. The underside is impressed with punch numerals "32", "53", "7", and "6".
