Description

Chinese Qing Dynasty gilt bronze lidded box raised on four shaped squat legs. The top rectangular cover decorated in deep relief of Fu dogs playfully chasing the XiuQiu silk ball, interspersed by dense of lattice pattern diaper. and rock mountain in pursuing of centralized flaming pearl. The side of the lid banded with Longevity Shou medallions. The lower body panel decorated with Fu Dogs.

Mark on base, four script -KaiShu- characters within a square border, QianLong Reign Period.

Dimensions: 2-1/2" H x 5" W

Condition

Excellent condition, with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. Normal, considering ages and wears.
