Finely potted in a bulbous lower body, gently tapering unto the waisted neck supporting the flaring rim, raised on a concaved foot ring base. The dome lid crowned with simply bud finial. The exterior delicately decorated in cobalt blue underglaze painting of floral blooms interspersed by scrolling tendrils. The rim and foot banded with arrays of upturning lappets. The jar elegantly presented upon a carved hardwood stand with comforting motif. The shape is uniformly proportioned. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese GuanYao porcelain Imperial wares , with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the painting, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well drawn, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, pooling on the base slightly veiling the mark. Mark on base, six blue script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double fine blue rings; XuanDe Reign Period of Great Ming.
