Finely carved Chinese Lapis Lazuli and gilt bronze cloisonne incense burner, of cylindrical shaped, cloisonne enamel base and gilt bronze domed lid. Elaborately open carved depicted group of elderly sages and attendant traversing on their path between rocky outcrop and dense of shading forest trees within mountainous landscape in deep relief. The pierced gilt bronze dome lid decorated with dragon amidst clouds. The base with enamel filled gilt bronze cloisonne works in floral motif against pale-turquoise-blue enamel ground.

Mark on base, incised four script -KaiShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period.
