Chinese Ming Dynasty XuanDe Gilt Bronze Cloisonne Incense Burner. Cast in shallow vessel form, thick and deep, emerging mythical head shape flanked on themed body, round opening mouth lip, short neck, raised with ring foot base. The body carved with lotus flowers blossom interspersed foliage with interlocking tendril and auspicious pattern. The cloisonne decorating has been done with impressive fluency and detail. As sacrificial sets are considered quite rare.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a Four Embossed gilt script characters reign mark, enclosed within thick fine gilt rectangle line. Made in The Years of XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. Normal, consider ages and wear.
