Group of circa 1861 Jefferson Davis items comprising: 1.) Printed 1861 election ballot for the state of Virginia with Jefferson Davis for President and Alexander H. Stephens for Vice President. Lists additional candidates for the state of Virginia at large. Verso bears a faded, now illegible, signature of the voter. Bears a small spindle hole in center. 2.) Uncirculated colorful red, white, and blue postal cover. Features the early C.S.A. flag design imprinted at center "A Secession Envelope" flanked above and below by "Jeff. Davis, Prest." and "Alexr H. Stephens. Vice Prest." 3.) Uncirculated postal cover printed in blank ink on yellow paper featuring an engraved portrait of a youthful Jefferson Davis with facsimile signature at left side. 4.) Engraved carte de visite portrait of Jafferson Davis. 5.) Clipped vignette comprising a circular portrait of Davis at center with the legend "Confederate States of America / Our First President" flanked by C.S.A. flags.
