ENGLISH COPPER LUSTRE TRANSFER-PRINTED AMERICAN HISTORICAL CERAMIC PITCHERS / CREAMERS, LOT OF TWO, one having a yellow ground around the middle and one with red ground, both with black transfer-printed design of Lafayette on one side and Cornwallis "Resigning his Sword at York Town Oc.19.1781" on the opposite, copper lustre at top and bottom. Unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1825. 4" and 4 1/2" H.
Yellow-ground pitcher undamaged, other pitcher with one small chip and several minute flakes to rim and moderate wear to transfer patterns and enamel.
