Description
A handsome and detailed map of North Africa, including present day Algeria, Tunisia, Lybia, Egypt, and parts of Niger, Chad and Sudan. Borno Lake (Lake Chad) is placed further North than it really is. Inset is Malta.
Herman Moll (1654-1732) was a London cartographer, engraver, and publisher. In 1678 he opened a book and map store in London. He produced maps from his studies of the work of other cartographers.
