Description
New Scotland the isles of Breton, Anticoste, St. Iohns & c. Together with the fishing bancks. By H. Moll geographer. Book illustration map from about 1720. Gives mostly the geographical names with few places. Lower right corner replaced, light offsetting, reverse fold repairs. Modern coloring.
Herman Moll (1654-1732) was a London cartographer, engraver, and publisher. In 1678 he opened a book and map store in London. He produced maps from his studies of the work of other cartographers.
