Provenance: Acquired by DFAA from a longtime collection of a Lawyer. The work was originally acquired in the early 1990's and was kept private and stored since the original acquisition. The longtime owner had acquired the works in exchange for weekly pay when she was working at a Chicago based gallery in early 1990's. The works had been previously acquired in the early 1970's over an 8 year period directly from Andy Warhol's ex-lover who acquired a vast amount of works directly from Andy Warhol. In the 1980's after Andy died Mr. Kelly began to sell his collection he had purchased from years before. Included will be two letters of provenance and additionally a voice recording of Mr. Kelly discussing the history of the works which was recorded during the late 1980's/early 1990's.
