MATHIAS BAUERLE GERMAN TALL-CASE CLOCK, eight-day brass movement with Mathias Bauerle "Peerless" trademark, five-chime coil gong, hood having arched pediment with applied molding, and turned columns flanking the tombstone-arch glass pane door, over panelled case with matching turned columns, and arched glass panel door with applied molding to match hood, supported on plinth base with paw front feet and ogee back feet; metal dial with raised Arabic numerals, and seconds dial, surmounted by calendar and moon dial. Pendulum and weights present. Early 20th century. 94 1/4" HOA, 26 1/4" WOA.
Excellent condition overall. Currently in working condition. Minor wear to case, small losses to moldings and feet.
