This is a lovely little sterling silver nut or bon bon scoop, made in a custom pattern by Tiffany & Co. in the 1890s. The front of the handle is decorated with an applied ornate, three-dimensional letter "N," covered with a floral design and surrounded by detailed swirls. The back of the handle has an acid etched design. The bowl is shaped like a heart or a spade, and it is decorated with two rows of raised ovals. It is in excellent condition and the pattern is still crisp and clear. This scoop measures 4 3/4" x 2 5/8". It weighs 52.5 grams, or 1.69 Troy ounces. It is marked "TIFFANY & Co. STERLING M 921."
