Tara by Reed & Barton Sterling Silver Custom Made Letter Opener.It measures approximately 8" long. This custom made piece is made from an original Tara handle and a new stainless implement. The piece is hand finished by a highly skilled silversmith in the USA. The hollow handle is not usually stamped. Hollow handle items are usually not stamped due to their hollow construction. All of our hollow handle custom made pieces are thoroughly inspected and tested prior to shipping and are guaranteed sterling. Tara was introduced in 1955. This traditional pattern with subtle floral detail was made until 2011.
