Family Cabinet Atlas, pub. By Cary & Lea, 1832. First American edition. Complete with all 52 hand-colored maps as called for (maps in very good plus to near fine condition). Contains several United States/North America maps. Quarter leather. Front joint broken at top and bottom thirds. ¼” piece missing from upper spine. Tips worn through; bottom edge worn through near spine. Few spots on front cover; rear cover with light water stain. Front and rear hinges cracked but holding. Several gutter cracks in text block. Two pulled signatures (one held with just one string). 4.5 x7 inches.
