Marc Chagall* (1887-1985) drawing, brush and brown watercolor, executed on the half-title page of "Chagall," an exhibition catalog published by the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in collaboration with the Art Institute of Chicago, 1946. Drawing is signed and dated 1947 and is in very good condition. The overall condition of the catalog interior is also very good, but the front and back covers as well as the catalog's spine, are in poor to fair condition. Due to years of improper storage, the front cover has become detached from the catalog, presenting no adverse affect to the actual artwork. Catalog measures 10 x 7 1/2 inches.
