AN AMERICAN EMPIRE CARVED MAHOGANY HIGH ARM SETTEE, 19TH CENTURY, IN THE MANNER OF DEMING & BULKLEY, the arched gadroon carved crest within leafy swirled flower bloom roundels above a shaped back, over a bench seat, within high outwardly scrolled arms carved with scaled dolphin fish forms, raised on scaly carved dolphin form feet, joined by a wide skirt. Height: 46 1/2" Width: 61" Depth: 23 1/2"

Expected surface scratches, abrasive losses, some chips to the carving, and general wear throughout. The upholstery heavily snagged soiled, loosened from the frame, faded, and in need of reupholstering, but otherwise in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
