PIERRE AUGUSTE RENOIR (French 1841-1919) A RARE LITHOGRAPH, CIRCA 1919, "Femme au cep de vigne Teme variante," A PAGE FRAGMENT FROM AMBROSE VOLLARD'S "L'album des Douze Lithographies Originales de Pierre Auguste Renoire," on Japon paper, signed in plate, paper 13" X 19"; image 4 1/2" x 3 1/2". NOTE: From a printing of 1,000, which included 50 printed on Japon paper, and 950 on Vellum. This printing was the first and only edition, as the stone was effaced after printing. The original lithograph produced in 1904.

Areas with tape residue around the edges, some very mild foxing spots intermittently throughout, bends to the top and bottom edges of the paper, the lower right corner has a tear that is now lacking, the lower left corner has two pencil marks, inscribed in blue ink pen at back is a phone number (for Jerry MacAgy), and a blue color paint-like line runs down approximately one half of the edge of the back of the paper, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
