after KANO TANYU (Japanese 1602-1674) A ZEN INK ON SILK SCROLL FRAGMENT, PROBABLY EDO PERIOD,1603-1868, ink wash on rice paper, of a gibbon monkey reaching over a watery surface, with a ding form red seal with three characters. 9" x 13 1/2"
Condition
Some creasing throughout. Mild tone to the paper. Scroll now cut down. Overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
