As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: c. 1/2% spotty overpainting in the bottom 1/3 of the painting; overall craquelure is stable; overlapping edges of the canvas have been cut off and the canvas is coming loose l(appears not to be attached to the stretcher bars as a result); antique gilt frame has chips (particularly on the side).
