Description
A late Victorian 18ct gold enamel and split pearl memorial ring. The marquise shape glazed woven hair panel, with split pearl surround and black enamel band reading 'In Memory Of'. Makers marks for J W Benson. Hallmark for London, 1900. Ring size Q. Weight 6.8gms. With makers case.
Condition
The condition of this lot is good, with light signs of wear to the enamel in keeping with age and general wear. The glass is slightly dirty and the hair beneath a little dusty. The case lining is marked for J W Benson, Ludgate Hill, London and has scuffing to the exterior in keeping with use.
