Description
A late Victorian 18ct gold turquoise and pearl ring. Designed as a marquise turquoise cabochon, within a split pearl surround and grooved band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1887. Ring size J. Weight 5.2gms.
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. Turquoise has discoloured with age. Split pearls are replacements Split pearls are a creamy greyish white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Nacre damage can be seen to some. Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
