Description
CIRCLE AND ELLIPSE VASE, brilliant deep amethyst, small size, short conical bowl with a gauffered six-petal rim, raised on a hexagonal knop stem and flared foot, factory polished under base to level, factory polished lower mold lines, single-piece construction. New England. 1850-1870. 7 1/8" H, 3 3/4" D rim, 3 3/4" DOA foot.
(UPDATED 9/27/17) Undamaged. Two light annealing lines to foot, as made.
