Description
G.L. Ashworth & Bros (English, 1862-1968), circa 1862-1890. A group of ironstone Imari palette serving pieces comprising a covered casserole and a large covered tureen with matching oval underplate. All pieces with impressed mark "ASHWORTH REAL IRONSTONE CHINA". Approximate height of casserole 5.12", width 13" (handle to handle), depth 8.75". Approximate height of tureen 9.12", width 14" (handle to handle), depth 7.75". Approximate height of underplate 1.5", width 15.5", depth 12.25".
