English, mid 20th century. A Regency style calamander veneered barrel chair, mounted with gilt bronze lion's head handholds, upholstered in cheetah print velvet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30.75", width 26.5", seat depth 19", seat to floor 20".

Wear commensurate with age and use. Lion mounts are loose. Scratches, chipping, and losses to the finish overall, with some abrasions. Finish could benefit from refreshing. Areas where finish marker has been used, with seam separation. Sturdy and sound. Fabric is tight to frame, with some wear to pile, and minor sunfading. No rips or tears.
