Chinese Ming Dynasty gilt bronze Bodhisattva Buddha figure of Avalokiteshvara. Shown seated in Dhyasana with hands in vitarka and varada mudras, left hand holding a bottle vase. Wearing a necklace with three pendent tassels and priest's robes cast with patchwork and with foliate borders, the hair worn in long knotted plaits and gathered up into a topknot within the openwork foliate crown centered by a figure of Amitabha Buddha. Seated in crossed leg Lotus position.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. With normal anomalies in nature, missing some stones inlaid, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. some missing stones inlaid. Normal, consider ages and wear.
