Fine Chinese porcelain bowls finely potted with angled cavetto everted the slightly waisted steep sides, raised on concaved base. The exterior delicately decorated in variegate tones and shades of cobalt blue painting depicted a continuous scene of official figures within a terraced garden. Borders of thin lines incised near the top and foot rims and a clear blue color on a very white paste are characteristic features. The blue and white of the Qing Dynasty emperor Kangxi (1662-1722) is considered to be of the finest technical workmanship.
Mark on both base, six blue script -KaiShu- characters, enclosed within double fine blue rings, KangXi Reign Period of Great Qing.
