Very fine, High valued Chinese Zitan wood brush pot in cylindrical-trapezoid body, flared opening, with unsymmetrical rim, naturalistically carved to simulate old tree trunk, with gnarled surface. The Zitan wood display smooth lustrous dense hardwood with dark purple-brown patina and feathery fine grain.
