A set of coins and an oil lamp from 1971 commemorating York's 1900 years of history. Lot includes a terracotta lamp with birds within the discus, written around the rim is - York 1971, EBURACUM LXXI, numbered 1122 out of 1900 made, L: 5 1/8 in (13cm); as well as a group of coins mounted in a low box replicating issues of various Roman emperors. Also included are 9 other replica Roman coins. An interesting commemorative lot!
