Description
Pre-Columbian, Central Mexico, Valley of Mexico, Tlatilco culture, ca. 800 to 500 BCE. A petite modeled 'pretty lady' figure in solid terracotta, with a pronounced and multi-lobed headdress, almond-shaped eyes, a protruding face, characteristically attenuated arms, round breasts, and large wide hips signifying fertility. A great example overall. Size: 0.5" L x 1.375" W x 2.75" H (1.3 cm x 3.5 cm x 7 cm); 3" H (7.6 cm) on included custom stand.
