Here we have a fine 1860s set of 12 place settings. 148 troy ounces of ultra fine British silver. 148 ozt. The vintage wood side cabinet or dining server offered in the former auction (Lot 688) was customized for this set and is being offered separately. Please read our descriptions carefully for each piece. In the total measurement all 26 dinner knives have hollow filled handles, therefore an estimate of ½ troy ounce was used in the total calculation for each knife. One monogram of a fox is on the reverse side of the dinner fork, the only engraving in the entire set. Hallmarks may vary due to date code and stamp used.
