Faberge 56 Gold, 3.50ctw Diamond, Ruby, & Blue Sapphire Stick Pin W/6mm Opal Cabochon & Emerald Eye *Work Master HW (Henrik Wingstrom)* in Faberge Leather Casket - This magnificent piece is made of solid 56 gold (the Russian standard for 14K gold during the Pre-Revolution period), and is a stick pin in the form of a sword, finished with a rooster pommel. The length of the sword along with the rooster's beak have a yellow gold finish, while the handle has a white gold finish. The piece is delicately finished with approx. 2.00ctw genuine single cut diamonds, which create the essence of this amazing piece. The pin is also decorated with approx. 1.00ctw genuine rubies, and 0.50ctw genuine blue sapphires. The rooster has a genuine emerald eye, and the center of the piece is set with a 6mm (approximate) genuine opal cabochon. This piece shows wonderful attention to detail, and is in beautiful condition. The pin bears the work master's mark "HW" for Henrik Wingstrom, who was active from 1903 to 1917 and inherited the Perkhin workshop after the death of his friend. Wingstrom became the third and last senior workmaster responsible for most of the Tsar Imperial Easter eggs for the years 1904-1917. The pin is also marked "K.F."
