Description

DESCRIPTION: An antique wooden travel desk, writing slope. Embellished along the exterior with inlaid brass. Opens to reveal a brown felt lined slope and five apertures along the front. Both sides of the felt lined slope lif open to reveal a hidden crevice with the lid side fitted with two latches to open it.
CIRCA: Mid-Late 19th Ct.
ORIGIN: England
DIMENSIONS: (Open) H:3.75" L:19 7/8" W:20 7/8" (Closed) H:5.5" L:19 7/8" W:10.25"
CONDITION: Exterior is in fair condition. Along the inside there is a lid that is lodged shut. The panel fitted to the bottom side, does not close properly and has some stripped woode.
