COIN AND STERLING SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF 13, comprising a set of six sterling table spoons marked for Dominick & Haff, two different sterling tea spoons, including one marked for J. Stuart MacDonald, Baltimore, MD (active 1879-1921), the remainder being coin silver, including a backward-tipped fiddle back sugar scoop marked "WORTFIGUER" with pseudo hallmarks, two forward-tipped fiddle back tea spoons marked for Ziba Ferris, Wilmington, DE (active 1808-1870), a forward-tipped fiddle back tea spoon marked for Gorham & Co., Providence, RI (1852-1865), and a backward-tipped fiddle back tea spoon marked for Riggs & Griffith, Baltimore, MD (c. 1817). Total sterling weight: 9.905 ozt. Total coin silver weight: 2.89 ozt. 19th and early 20th century. 5 7/8" to 7 3/8" L.
Excellent condition overall, expected minor wear, some tea spoons with denting to bowls.
