"POLAR" CAST-IRON GAS STOVE, with original nickel finish, embossed "POLAR" to face under stove top, and "NEW YORK / ELECTRIC GAS & OIL STOVE WORKS" to base, having three burner covers, including one pierced trivet-like example, three wick burners with individual wick raisers, each marked "PAT'D APRIL 4TH, '91 / M.B. CO. N.Y.", furnace door with two windows, one lacking original mica screen. Late 19th/early 20th century. 11 3/4" H, 13 1/4" x 11 1/2" OA base.
Excellent condition overall, appears complete, trivet-like burner possibly not original, lacking one mica screen to furnace door as described.
