Edwardian Sterling Silver Desktop Menorah
hallmarked London, 1902-1903, in the form of a bombe pedestal desk, decorated with applied menorahs, embossed Shabbat scenes, and "Chanukkah" in Hebrew, the hinged lid with finial of the crowned tablets of the law supported by lions, opening to reveal eight oil wells with wick rings flanked by a pair of candleholders.

Condition
In overall very good condition with no visible losses or repairs. Back part of the desk that supports the
rear leg is slightly bent (waffled), which may be innate from when the leg was applied. The rabbi and the
woman on the lid have some light wear to their faces from polishing. Menorah exhibits a few minor scuffs
and scratches as are to be expected with age and use.
