Description
DESCRIPTION: Three Japanese woodblock prints. Includes: 1) Ohara Shoson (Japanese, Active 1877-1945). "Peacock in a cherry tree". Circa 1900. Matted in gold metal frame. 7-1/2" x 3-1/2". Overall with frame 11-3/4" x 7-1/4". Toning. Tears to lower quarter of print. 2) Woodblock of geisha and child published by Nihon Shosui-sha. In gold painted frame. 11-5/8" x 7-3/8". Overall with frame 14" x 9-3/4". A couple small depressions to print. 3) Utagawa Yoshitora (Japanese, Active 1835-1887). Two geishas. Original labels mounted to verso. Matted in gold metal frame. 7-3/4" x 5-3/4". Overall with frame 13" x 10-1/2". Some toning visible along bottom edge. MEASUREMENTS: See Description. CONDITION: See Description.
