Description

New England Chippendale Grandfather Clock in cherry, ca. 1780, with a large arched molded bonnet, retaining the original three brass steeple finials, arched glass door over painted dial with Arabic numbers, floral brackets, added panel having decals of ship and ivy, brass time and strike works with date ring, retaining the original weights and pendulum, arched molded throat door, molded block base. 83 3/4" (6'-11 3/4") tall, 18 1/2" x 12". Repainted dial, mismatched finishes, cut and reassembled backboard.
