Cream jug and sugar bowl on a small tray; silver plated ensemble from WMF, Germany, 1930’s. Modernist design by the factory’s leading artist of the period, Kurt Meyer. Cone-like feet and very matter-of-fact, functionalist forms. All three pieces with impressed mark of the Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik: WMF and Import (the set was exported to Sweden). The width of the tray is 8¼ inches/ 21 cm and the height of the creamer 2½ inches/ 6,5 cm. Condition: minor scratch marks to the creamer as seen on photos, otherwise fine.
