Initially, Schultz tried to assemble the chairs using small rivets as seen on this example. The rivets would be replaced by epoxy in the final production.

Condition
Minor surface abrasions to frame from contact over time. Webbing shows faint soiling from normal use. One bolt to underside is stripped, and protrudes out of hole. Sound condition.
