Description
Gorham (American (Rhode Island), founded 1831). A group of 5 sterling silver table articles comprising a repousse cream pitcher with lid along with four footed sherbets with gold wash interior. All pieces hallmarked for Gorham and stamped "STERLING". The cream pitcher with date code for 1891 and numbered "280". Approximate height 5.12" (to top of lid). The sherbets stamped "A2495". Approximate height 3.37". Overall approximate weight 18.26 troy ounces.
Condition
Pitcher and sherbets are not same pattern though complimenting. Gold wash to the interior of sherbets with some scratches, pitting, small dings. Pitcher has minor pitting and oxidation. Some polish residue. Base with dings and dents. Wear is commensurate with age and usage.
