Description
A pair of bronze amulets in the form of horned bulls, Southern Anatolia, c. 1000 - 600 BC, each nicely detailed with short horns and light surface deposits over an even olive green patina. There are suspension loops on the back of each, one showing remains of an iron wire. Both average 20mm in length. Ex East Coast private collection, acquired March 1983; Ex California Museum of Ancient Art, donated 1989. (1001).
