Description
A lovely Pre-Columbian double-chambered whistle vessel, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. This nicely burnished example is 7-1/2 in high, 8-1/2 in long and features a bird perched atop the front chamber. The wings and head are nicely detailed and the bridge handle has a nice open design. Good mineral deposits and clear tone on the whistle hidden inside the bird. Ex Pritz estate.
