Description

This is the eleventh edition of "The Original Picayune Creole Cook Book" (446 pages), published by The Times-Picayune Publishing Co. in 1947. The cover, red cloth background with white accents and drop-out graphics, is structurally sound, but with a sunned spine, which is frayed to its ends. The front and back covers are sunned to the top edges. The top front outside corner is bumped. There are spot stains to the back cover, but both front and back are clean overall, with no notable fade to the art or lettering. The inside is in good condition, with sunning to many top edges are to the outside top corners of some pages, but with almost all page faces without any other stains. The text is clean and unfaded. There are no page tears or creases. There are no stamps or other attachments. I've found no writing.

Condition

The cover, red cloth background with white accents and drop-out graphics, is structurally sound, but with a sunned spine, which is frayed to its ends. The front and back covers are sunned to the top edges. The top front outside corner is bumped. There are spot stains to the back cover, but both front and back are clean overall, with no notable fade to the art or lettering. The inside is in good condition, with sunning to many top edges are to the outside top corners of some pages, but with almost all page faces without any other stains. The text is clean and unfaded. There are no page tears or creases. There are no stamps or other attachments. I've found no writing.
