Condition: Very good. Original color, very little age toning in margins. One 3-4 in. tear at fold and slightly beyond. Issued folds.

Very nice geological survey map of parts of the Mojave Desrt and the New River (from Salton Sea), as explored by R Williamson and issued by the War Department. This is part of the very large effort to survey the land in conjunction with the construction of the Pacific Rail Road. Uncolored.
