Description
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A tall, coil-made amphora with a tapering body, twin handles from the shoulders to the neck, and a slightly rolled rim. Items like this one were used to transport oil, garum (fish sauce), and other liquids that were traded in smaller quantities. Comes with custom stand. Size: 3" W x 8.9" H (7.6 cm x 22.6 cm); height on stand: 10.2" (25.9 cm)
