Special issue of Shig's irregular newsletter, dealing with the death of legendary North Beach poet Bob Kaufman, including obituaries from local papers and a photocopy of a handwritten poem by Jack Hirschman. Shigeyoshi Murao, known as "Shig," was the manager of the City Lights Bookstore from 1957 through the mid-seventies. "Shig's Review," his irreverent and irregular newsletter, began appearing in the 1960's and continued through the late 1980s. Some wear and creasing; about very good. Scarce.
