This set of 12 Booklets are ex-libris from the Ethel Traphagen Library Collection. All are complete, intact, and well-preserved. Printed on glossy pages with stapled spine folds. Unless noted the booklets are clean and crisp, and show only minor age-related paper changes ( 90+ year-old ephemera). Size: 7.5 x 10.5 inches. Griffin 10 pages, multiple b/w photos.;Indian Weaving by Mary Louis Kissell 16 pages, one color litho paste down image and multiple b/w photos. ;Fine Art and the First Americans by Herbert J. Spinden 8 pages, two b/w photos. This copy is marked neatly on the cover with library call numbers.;Indian Symbolism by Herbert Spinden 18 pages, multiple b/w illustrations and b/w photos. ;Indian Poetry by Mary Austin 3 pages, no illustrations, finger marks on first page. ;Books on Indian Arts North of Mexico compiled by Ruth Gaines 15 page Bibliography for further study. No illustrations. The cover has a small: rough/sandy " patch below the date. Foxing on the upper edge noted. ;Indian Porcupine-Quill and Beadwork by William C. The Exposition of Indian Tribal Arts was the first exhibition of American Indian art to be selected based solely on its aesthetic value. It took place at the Grand Central Art Galleries in New York City from December 1–24, 1931. The exhibition featured over 650 historical and contemporary objects from many tribes and was the largest touring Native art exhibit of that time.
