Antique Red Wing Union Stoneware, double handled, #8 prohibition crock
Owned and used by Al Capone with written alcohol recipes on the outside of the pot
Measures: 15 x 15 inches
Provenance: Private collection, MI
Acquired directly by the original owners mother who was the next door neighbor to Al Capone at his residence in Escanaba, Michigan. The pot was given directly to her from Al's wife, Mae Capone, during the 1920's
Patented Dec 21, 1915, additionally stamped in blue
