Description

Available for bidding on this lot is a very regal "Criterion" music box. Manufactured by F.G. Otto & Sons between 1895-1909, in Jersey City, NJ. The beautiful mahogany case boasts incredible displays of spoon and relief carving techniques, as well as a detailed depiction of four cherubs. This box plays 15 3/4" zinc discs on two 76-note combs that still cycle properly and most importantly, sound excellent. This box that measures 21 1/4" wide, 19" deep, and approximately 11" tall, includes 4 discs, all which play fantastically.
