Created by renowned Japanese Artisan Ichiryu ( Kazuya) Kajiwara, who represents the third generation in his family of Japanese Mask Carvers. The piece is signed on the mask and on a piece of wood displayed in the case. This mask was presented to its owner's uncle in Japan in honor of his role as head of a major American Oil company in Asia. One of a matched pair in this auction.
